Halloween Budget!

Does anybody else live on Pinterest?

It’s difficult when you have a tribe at home and you want to celebrate every holiday with the family. I think I’ve officially come to the conclusion that children don’t need 100’s of pounds spent on them to have an amazing time! Simple is effective and fun in my eyes, plus there is going to be a time when you can’t get away with putting them in an Aldi outfit that cost £3.99! Make the most of it!

Here are my 3 Top finds to have a cheap and fun Halloween this year! I’ve even snuck in a cheeky Star Tip just for fun!

1

The wonderful Diy-Candy came up with this amazing idea for a Halloween themed Pinata! Fear not, those empty toilet rolls that nobody can be bothered to replace, will now have a purpose! Fill them with tacky crap from the pound store, wrap it back up with the loo paper your little one pulled metres off earlier and bobs your uncle – Spooky Pinata!

Whoever decided to draw on a clementine and make them look like mini pumpkins was one bored genius! Amazing idea and part of your child’s 5 a day! Let’s face it if your children are anything like mine, those clementines will be flying around the house and being squashed under those tiny little feet. Thank you Princess and the Frog – what a great idea!

Who doesn’t love a marshmallow? Especially if it has a Smartie on the top! Come on, this is every child’s (parents) dream, right?

Eat’s amazing – Fun food for kids always manages to turn the simplest of foods and make them look delicious and in the theme of the event! I have spent hours on there feed looking for different ways to entice my children to eat, even though they won’t have a problem picking up these delicious treats!

STAR TIP

Get yourselves down to Aldi…like now! They have the best costumes, party accessories and Halloween themed snacks for all those little terrors to enjoy! Why do you need to spend a fortune on an event that won’t even last more than a few hours? I’m proud to say that I’m an Aldi shopper, and I proudly bought my twinkies a £3.99 pumpkin costume which they will be wearing for 3 different parties! Boom!

Happy Halloween
